_The
mission of Centerpoint First Baptist Church is to bring the message of
salvation to every household in our community, helping those who are
open to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, becoming more Christ
like, and equipped to live out their ministry in the church in a life
devoted to the great commission and the great commandment.

The Great Commission:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
The Great Commandment:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31)
Salvation:
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10 NIV)

Preaching & Teaching:
God’s word is absolute truth and the foundation of all our beliefs. It is proclaimed in our messages, taught in our classes and honored by our obedience.

Fellowship:
It is vital to your spiritual health to have healthy relationships with other believers. We are a family of God, brought together as brothers and sisters in Christ, where you can find comfort, security, and strength to grow.

Family:
Healthy Christian families are vital to healthy Christian lives. We are committed to providing resources, encouragement, and support to foster healthy Christian families and homes.

Worship:
Worship is a time to glorify God both on a personal basis and as a group. It is a time for coming into God’s presence through music, drama, multimedia, prayer and the Word of God.

Leadership:
A leader is someone who leads by serving and sets a Godly example for others to follow. They are dedicated to growing personally and growing the body of Christ.

Evangelism:
Every Christian is responsible to share the good news of Jesus Christ in various ways, being an example, visiting, songs, and teaching believers to obey everything He has commanded.

Giving:
God blesses every person with unique gifts, whether it’s time, abilities, or financial resources. It’s our privilege as Christians to give back a portion of what God has blessed us with.

Mission:
