Our Mission
The mission of Center Point Church is to bring the message of salvation to every household in our community, helping those who are open to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ become more Christ-like, equipping them to live out their ministry in the church in a life devoted to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
The Great Commandment
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.

What We Believe
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of our universe. He has always existed in a perfect, eternal community of three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three share equal authority and are, in truth, one God.

Man
We are created in the spiritual image of God, designed to reflect His character in how we live. Human beings are the centerpiece of God’s creation. While we possess incredible potential for good, our lives are fractured by a natural tendency toward disobedience called "sin." This attitude is what separates us from a holy God.

Eternity
We were built to live forever. Our future holds one of two eternal realities: either a life completely cut off from God because of sin, or a life of deep union with Him through forgiveness and salvation. Permanent separation from God is what the Bible calls hell, while eternal union with Him is heaven. Both are real destinations.

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, holding equal authority with the Father. He stepped into our world, lived a completely flawless human life, and willingly offered Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for our wrongs by dying on a cross. Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving His power over death. He has ascended to heaven and will return to reign as King of Kings.

Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God, plain and simple. We can never earn our way back to Him through self-improvement, milestones, or good behavior. True rescue from the penalty of sin only happens when we trust in Jesus’ offer of forgiveness. The moment you accept Him by faith, eternal life begins.

Eternal Security
Because eternal life is a gift from God through Jesus, a believer’s salvation is secure for eternity. Your standing with God isn't a performance test maintained by your own striving; it is held together entirely by His grace and keeping power.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is fully equal with the Father and the Son. He is active in our world today, nudging our hearts to recognize our need for Jesus. The moment we accept salvation, He takes up residence inside us—providing the wisdom to understand spiritual truth, the power to live well, and daily guidance to do what is right.

The Bible
The Bible is God’s direct message to us. It was penned by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, making it our definitive source for Christian belief and daily living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth we can rely on completely without error.

Marriage
Marriage and intimacy are beautiful gifts designed by God to bring Him glory. His lifelong design for marriage is a covenant between one biological man and one biological woman from birth. Relationships outside of this biblical design miss the mark of His blessing. However, marriage is not the only path—singleness is also a meaningful gift and a purposeful calling from God.
